The glaciers of the Skart massif

The Skart massif is a high mountain massif between Ladtjovagge, Savovagge, Kaukulvagge and Tjäktjavagge in central Kebnekaise. Its highest peak is Skartåive (1761 m) and the massif contains 2 small glaciers.

1. Nuortap Skartjekna

Nuortap Skartjekna (0.08 km2) is a tiny cirque glacier east of Skartåive. Earlier it was continuos with Årjep Skartjekna.


2. Årjep Skartjekna

Årjep Skartjekna (0.18 km2) is a small cirque glacier east of Skartåive. Nuortap Skartjekna was previously a part of it.
