The glaciers of the Rusjka massif

The Rusjka massif lies between Tjäktjavagge, Tsutsavagge, and Kaitumvagge in southern Kebnekaise. The highest peak is Rusjka (1708 m) and the massif contains 3 small glaciers.

1. Rusjkajekna

Rusjkajekna (0.20 km2) is a small ice cap on a terrace south of Rusjka´s summit.


2. Alep Patajekna

Alep Patajekna (0.33 km2) is an elongated ice cap on Patatjåkka. This one is probably just some dead ice (or a snow field).


3. Lulep Patajekna

Lulep Patajekna (0.22 km2) is an elongated ice cap on the east side of Patatjåkka. Like the previous this one is probably no true glacier.
