The glaciers of the Kårsatjåkka massif

The Kårsatjåkka massif from S The Kårsatjåkka massif from S, August 12, 1994. (43 kB)

The Kårsatjåkka massif is a large and largely unknown high mountain massif between Teusadalen and Kaitumdalen, east of Kungsleden in southern Kebnekaise. The interior of the massif is almost impassable due to the deep v-valleys. The highest peak is Kuoperattjåkka (1730 m) and the massif contains 4 small glaciers.
